The Echolink capability is protected by an Access Control List (ACL) to
limit the number of "drive-by" connections which can be annoying due to
their frequency. If you have an RF system (an Echolink -L or -R node)
and you wish to be able to connect to us on a regular basis, send us an
e-mail with the connecting call sign and we will consider adding you to
the ACL.
Because of linking delays, please allow a full two seconds when
transmitting before you start speaking to avoid lost syllables on the
remote side.
Outbound connections to remote nodes from the FM38 network requires the
assistance of a control operator, because the access codes are custom.

FM38 announces the availability of all three popular VOIP technologies,
Allstar Link (#2495), IRLP (#4606) and Echolink (#467140). As far as we
know, we are the first repeater in Wisconsin to offer all three full-time.
Normally, the FM38 network is parked on the IRLP Wisconsin Reflector
Channel 4 (#9624), where we are joined by other Wisconsin repeaters
periodically for nets like the Wednesday evening 145.130 swap-net.
