The technical committee has been working on this change to alleviate the interference issues that we have had with the Chicago repeater, our state frequency coordinator was able to find this frequency and the AREC board approved the move. Many thanks to those who have worked hard on finding us a clear frequency.

The Milwaukee/Waukesha ARES repeater frequency will change from 146.67 Mhz to 147.165 Mhz. This repeater frequency change is expected to occur on the weekend of March 5th and 6th 2005. The repeater's tone will remain the same 127.3 Hz CTCSS.
