Just a quick update that the Milwaukee 443.800 repeater will be disconnected from the rest of the network starting around 3PM today through Sunday evening for Irish Fest.

As a result, the traffic through the network will drop quite a bit so expect a quiet weekend on your local repeater or node. The AllStar stuff will remain connected so the outlying systems can still chat between themselves.

The Plymouth repeater is back on line after being down since October 2025. Pretty much everything in the cabinet was updated and replaced. If you are in the area that is served by this repeater we are looking for signal and audio reports.

After many years of building out the FM38 network we have finally formalized things and created a nonprofit 501c3 organization. We have big plans to keep adding sites and improving the system but it takes a lot of effort and of course some $$. As we don't have a formal membership and dues structure we rely on our great volunteers to do the work and donate funds. As this is now a tax exempt organization your donations are tax deductible in addition to benefiting ham radio as a whole. Irish Fest 2025
Starting mid-afternoon Thursday, August 14th and running through Sunday, August 17th, the Milwaukee site will be disconnected from the rest of the system. The ARES team will be using the repeater once again for bus coordination for Irish Fest shuttles.
Please limit your traffic on the system and give priority to the ARES coordinators.
